Have you ever wondered why so many successful people have friends that are successful? It is said that you are the average of the top five people you spend your time with.
If your five best friends are great athletes you will be the sixth.
If your five best friends are “A” students you will be the sixth
If your five best friends are in real estate you will be the sixth.
If your five best friends are over weight you will be the sixth.
If your five best friends are earning minimum wage you will be the sixth.
If your five best friends are broke, you will be the sixth.
I don’t know about you, but I would rather be around others that are excelling in life rather than failing.
So if you are not necessarily excelling in life, how do we change that?
Maybe you are excelling, but not where you want to be.
How do you change that?
The answer is simple.
You need to find somebody that has what you want and go out and mirror their actions. Reach out to them. Ask them to mentor you.
Now sometimes you may have to pay for this, but what better investment can you make than in yourself.
Finding a good mentor will save you lots of headaches and frustration.
I once heard a quote that has stuck in my head ever since. I forget where I heard it, but it goes like this.
“If you want to be a Millionaire, then talk to a Billionaire! You’ll get there a lot quicker”
Think about it. If you model their actions, this can save you years of trial and error. They can help prevent you from making all the mistakes they have made eliminating time and frustration.
That quote is pure genius!
I put up two short videos that I think may help on the topic. Check them out and be sure to subscribe to my YouTube Channel.
