Do you need more than a job to make money and improve your life? That is the question we will be answering today.
As we were young and growing up, many of us were taught to go to school, get good grades, go to college and get a good job. In today’s society this has become the norm. While none of those things are bad, they are not necessarily great either.
Of course, everyone should go to school and educate themselves. Education is one one the most important things you can do. The more you know the more you can grow. This is one thing that should never stop.
Unfortunately, the go to school and get a good job mindset sets most people up for failure. Something I see very often, is people graduate high school, go to college and then get a job. This theory pretty much emphasizes the leaning is done after we go to school.
A good example is just by the number of books the average person reads. It’s less than one a year. While the average CEO reads over 2 books a month. Their education never stops. They continue to keep learning and educating themselves, which is why there are in the position they are in. While most college kids can not wait until they graduate and never pick up a book again.
Now the real topic has to do with the job. This is where people get set up for failure. The idea of getting a job does more harm than good. While we all need a job to make money and pay for our expenses, this can not be the only thing we have.
Even if you have a good job and are making a great income, you still need more than just a job. The media, family, friends, etc. will try to tell you differently. While they may think they have their best intentions for you, this couldn’t be further than the truth.
Ask any successful person, and they will tell you that you need more than a job. By successful, I mean someone between rich and wealthy I talked about on one of the last blog posts. The average millionaire has 7 streams of income. Many have up to 20 or more. Just one of my businesses generate me 5 stream of income alone.
If all these successful people have more than a job, doesn’t that tell us something? It sure does.
Don’t listen to the person that tells you, all you need is a job. Chances are, they are not wealthy or working toward building their wealth.
In the video below, I dig into a number of reasons why you need more than a job to make money, to retire, to pay off debt, to improve you life and more.
